SCHEDULED MEETINGS
November 14, 2011 Dinner for Dallas White Rock Lions should plan to be at the home of Lion Susan Farb around 6 p.m. so that we can begin eating at 6:30 p.m.
November 9-13 – Gift Wrap Party for Special Customer Pecan Orders for Dallas White Rock Lions Our order should be shelled and packed around November 9-13. Lions plan to come to Shirley Goings-Lindsey’ home day after pecans arrive for the Gift Wrap Party. Lion Ben Wheeler will keep us informed.
November 19, 2011 - Zone Meeting; Methodist Hospital, 403 Campbell Road, Richardson, Texas. Parking available in front of hospital. Dallas White Rock Lions should plan to arrive by 8:30 to sign in and have refreshments.
Dallas White Rock Lions would like to thank all the generous people in Casa View, Casa Linda, East Dallas, Lakewood and other areas of Dallas who donated tickets back to our club for children who cannot afford to attend movies with their siblings and parents. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come with their children for a morning of family fun; which otherwise could not be enjoyed. Come and join us for the movies; thanks to all the ”Generous People of Dallas who donated tickets for this event!”.
Dallas White Rock Lion volunteers should plan to be at the UA Theatre, located at McCree Road and LBJ (McCree Road; it can also be reached by heading east on Northwest Hwy, turn left between Fry’s Electronics and Sam’s club to get onto McCree Road; the theatre is located at the back of Sam’s Club; just off LBJ); two movies are being shown Shrek and Monsters vs. Aliens.
